Your number,
off the lists.
Type your name. Newmoon builds your removal plan for 73 sites and hands it to Grok, which finds your listings, files the opt-outs and checks again every new moon. Nothing gets sent without your yes.

Scan in a minute.
Clear it for good.
Start with a quick scan in Grok to see where you show up. When you want it gone, give the full plan to Grok Bot and let the crew work through it.
See where you're listed
Opens Grok with your name and city filled in. Grok searches the big people-search sites and lists where you show up, with the opt-out link for each.
- works with any Grok account
- a starting point, not a full audit
- search only for yourself
Take it all down
Six bots file every opt-out, click the confirmation emails, put your number on Do Not Call and re-check on every new moon. You approve each step.
- 73 sites + registries, in priority order
- one sheet back, every line with proof
- no ID, no card, ever
What a run looks like
A replay with an example person. Your own run happens inside your Grok Bot, on your data, and stops for your yes before anything is sent.

Six bots, one job each
Each bot has a single job and one hard rule it can't break. They hand work to each other in order, and Ledger keeps the receipts.
Build your plan
Pick how deep to go and get the sites in the order that matters, each with its search page and opt-out page. Mark progress as your bots report back. Everything stays in this browser.
Paste it into your Grok Bot
The main prompt already has your plan inside. Use it alone, or split the crew into six bots with the prompts below. Setup, commands and troubleshooting are in the docs.
- step 1
Open your Grok Bot and create a skill named
newmoon. Or add the shared Newmoon bot in one click if it's available. - step 2
Paste the main prompt. Your name, city and plan are already in it.
- step 3
Add routines.yml so Watch runs again on every new moon.
- step 4
Say
start. Scout reports first, and nothing is filed until you approve it.
Every site, with the direct link
45 sites from the BADBOOL list (updated September 27, 2026), plus caller-ID apps and other sites Newmoon added. Each row has the page to search yourself and the page to opt out.
What stays on you
The bots handle forms and emails. A few steps need a human, and a few things can't be removed at all.
Verification calls
Some sites call your phone and read you a code. Your bot pauses and tells you which code box to fill.
Whitepages · MyLifeID and face uploads
Face-search sites want a photo ID or a selfie. The bots never upload either, so these are yours to do or skip.
PimEyes · FacecheckCard-first searches
A couple of sites won't show results until you enter a card or start a trial. The bots never pay.
Archives · SearchbugPublic records
Property and voter records stay public at the county and state, so sites can pick you up again. That's why Watch runs every month.
VoterRecords · PropertyRecsScam calls
Do Not Call stops legitimate telemarketers. Scammers ignore it. Fewer listings means fewer lists selling your number, so calls drop over weeks.
donotcall.govLinks that move
Sites change their opt-out pages. Newmoon's added sites are marked, and your bot opens each link first. If one is dead, it finds the site's own opt-out and tells you.

Is it really free?
Newmoon is free, with no account and no tracking. The quick scan works in any Grok account. The full removal runs in Grok Bot, which is an xAI subscription. The $129 comparison is DeleteMe's yearly price for one person.
Is this made by xAI?
No. Newmoon is an independent project built on top of Grok and Grok Bot. It writes the plan and the prompts; Grok does the searching and the filing in your own account.
Does Newmoon see my name or number?
No. This page has no backend. Your plan and progress live in this browser's storage, and the prompt goes only where you paste it. Clear your browser data and it's gone.
Why do I have to approve everything?
Opt-out forms ask for personal details, and some sites use the form to collect more than they had. Your bot shows you each draft with your number masked, and you say yes or no. You can approve a whole site in one go.
How long until listings come down?
Some sites remove you within minutes of the confirmation email. Others take days or a few weeks. Ledger records the date each opt-out was filed, and Watch checks again on the next new moon.
Can I run it for my parents?
Yes, with their permission. Run it in their name with an inbox they can see. Newmoon's rules tell the bots to work on one person only and to ask before touching listings for relatives.
Where does the site list come from?
45 sites come from BADBOOL, the Big Ass Data Broker Opt-Out List by Yael Grauer, a volunteer project kept up since 2017. Newmoon restructures it for bots and keeps its CC BY-NC-SA license. On top of that, Newmoon adds caller-ID apps like Truecaller and Sync.me and other people-search sites; those are marked in the directory. Radaris and Rehold aren't listed because both are offline under a court order.
I'm outside the US. Does it work?
Mostly not. Nearly every site here is a US people-search site. Caller-ID apps like Truecaller work worldwide, so the quick scan and those removals still help.
